Volunteer Testimony by Jessica Norris, AmeriCorps RN 2009-2010

“What a year. Of all the valuable lessons I have learned over the course of this year, the most important has been the God wants Holy Family to stay open. The valley needs Holy Family. The world needs Holy Family. It is such a valuable site for midwives and nurses to learn about natural child birth out of the hospital. I can think of no other place that allows for the personal and professional growth that happens here year after year. this year we witnessed a rebirth for this birth center. We went through transitions that tested our faith, and brought us closer together. I know I was meant to be here for that, and I know the challenges we faced here will make me a stronger person and a strong midwife in the future. I am so thankful for this place.”
